Baltic Sea Games

The Baltic Sea Games were first held in 1993 in Tallinn, Estonia.
The second Games were in Vilnius and Kaunas, Lithuania in 1997.

Athletes from 11 countries around the Baltic Sea participated in the Games. There were plans for the third Games to be held in Riga, Latvia. For unknown reasons the Games didn't take place in 2001, nor in the following years.

Since 1999 there are Baltic Sea Youth Games, which are organized with an aim to determine the best young sportsmen in the countries of the Baltic Sea region. The Baltic Sea Youth Games take place once in two years.
